Manvadi (Manvantara-adi) tithis mark the beginning of each of the 14 Manvantaras — the cosmic ages within a Kalpa, each presided over by its own Manu. All 14 fall across the year and are observed as Shraddha (ancestor-offering / tarpanam) days, per the site's own Panchang Siddhanta.
