Shani Pradosham

Shani Pradosham is the Pradosha Vrata (Trayodashi twilight worship of Shiva) falling on a Saturday, ruled by Shani (Saturn) — widely considered the most auspicious of the weekday Pradoshams, observed for Shani dosha/sade-sati remedies. When this occurrence is also the Gauna (secondary) Pradosham day — the rare case where Trayodashi spans two civil days ambiguously — it is shown as "Shani Pradosham (Gauna)". Generic "Pradosham" queries also surface these dates.
